REAR EXTENSION & BASEMENT CONVERSION IN ECCLES

This property is a two-storey semi-detached Victorian house with basement and habitable loft within a conservation area. The property is of generous proportions and set in large grounds.

We have worked to add a single-storey extension at the rear of the property to open up the spaces internally to allow for modern-day family living. Some much needed ancillary spaces, such as a boot room, downstairs WC/shower and a pantry were also incorporated, as well as existing basement was waterproofed, insulated and converted into further entertainment spaces. A new raised patio and landscaping was added to better connect the main living areas with the rear garden.

A sensitive approach was necessary due to the property being in a conservation area and several protected trees on the site. We designs were worked in stages to help budget such an extensive and complex project.
